About
Elisabeth Bennett

I was born and raised in the Humboldt County California in the heart of the redwoods where solidly good-souled people peppered every aspect of my life. At seventeen I ventured off to college in the shadows of the Uinta Mountains where my world expanded greatly and I began to find my place in the psychology arena. After completing a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah and a brief stint in Anchorage, Alaska, I opened a private practice in Spokane, Washington where I have been providing services to individuals, groups, couples, families, businesses, and organizations since 1994. I have been married for over 30 years (he's a psychiatrist...our kids had no chance!) and have loved (almost) every minute of our family life that includes five children who are mostly grown and committed to lives and families of their own. I've been teaching at the graduate school level and maintaining a private practice for the last 27 years or so. I have spent thousands of hours in service to people from many walks of life, with remarkable resiliency, diverse backgrounds, varied issues, and personal dreams and goals. I value the work I do and treasure every minute spent journeying through client struggles, growth, and successes.
Experience
I'm a Professor and Licensed Psychologist.
